Our little blue penguins are at it again! This time they have made their way to the Indianapolis International Airport for another animated adventure. Now through the end of 2017, you can catch our little blue penguins popping up on screens inside the airport. Perfect timing for those of...
Wishing you all a happy and safe holiday! Remember to set off fireworks responsibly, as the noise from fireworks causes a great amount of fear, stress and anxiety in squirrels, ducks, and other wild animals. The adorable little creatures in and around our office would really appreciate it!
Some tips to keep our furry and feathered friends safe this holiday:
- Remove bird and animal feeders as well as bird baths and water sources to avoid potential contamination by fireworks.
- Wait until well after sun set to set off fireworks. Many animals feed at dusk so it is safer to wait until there are fewer animals nearby to be affected by the fireworks.
- Do not use fireworks near areas where wildlife may be living such as bird houses, coops, trees, etc.
- Clean up all firework debris quickly and completely. Firework debris often contains chemicals that are harmful to animals and that can contaminate drinking water.
